Miss Mexico crowned as the new Miss Universe 2010

 

After the tough question and answer, 22-year-old Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete was crowned as the Miss Universe 2010 on Monday, August 23 (Tuesday, August 24, Manila Time).

1st runner up: Miss Jamaica Yendi Philipps

2nd runner up: Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell

3rd runner up: Miss Urkraine Anna Poslavska
4th runner up: Miss Philippines Venus Raj

Miss Philippines Ma. Venus Raj place fourth in the Miss Universe 2010

Miss Philippines Maria Venus Raj, a 22-year old native of Bicol province, was named the fourth runner-up.

The representatives of Jamaica, Australia, and Ukraine were named first, second, and third runners up, respectively.

After the evening gown competition of the Miss Universe 2010, Miss Philippines Maria Venus Raj was announced as one of the final five of the pageant together with Mexico, Australia, Jamaica, and Ukraine.

William Baldwin: What is one big mistake you made in ur life and what did you do to make it right?
Venus Raj: In my 22 years of existence, there is no major, major problem that I have done in my life because I am very confident with my family and the love they give to me.
